Cimarron Golf Resort is set in the desert of Southern California, the championship, par-71 Boulder Course has European-style characteristics such as sod-wall bunkers filled with white crushed marble sand and creatively curved and shaped emerald-green fairways. By mixing elements of traditional desert golf with the links styling reminiscent of old Scotland, Cimarron stands alone in the Coachella Valley. As you play your round, you'll find generous fairways, large greens, stands of prairie grass and wild and sometimes wicked waste bunkers to navigate. Cimarron offers lots of elevated greens and tee boxes and expect to find some tiers on those greens as well.

Cimarron, named after the vibrant purple flower, means “wild and untamed.” So get ready for something wild and unusual at the Cimarron Golf Resort. Don’t expect to see a cookie-cutter style course lined with condos that can often be the case in Palm Springs golf. |

Cimarron Golf Resort is perfectly located to offer unmatched views of the surrounding mountains. Cimarron Golf Club is home to two spectacular golf courses - the long Boulder course & the shorter Cimarron Pebble course. Both courses at Cimarron were designed by renowned architect John Fought of Scottsdale. |

The signature hole at Cimarron Golf Resort is the second to last hole - number 17. It is an outstanding par 3 measuring 169 yards from the back tees and 98 yards from the ladies tees. The mountains, the flowering plants and the water make for a picture-perfect golf hole. The local tip says that it plays into the prevailing breezes and may demand a longer club than usual. |

Cimarron Pebble Course -
You approach our smaller par 58 Pebble Course with a bit different mindset than you would the Championship Boulder Course.
Both are maintained to the highest standards and no stone is left unturned to insure a great golf experience on both.
Pebble offers it's own set of special advantages - depending on how you look at it. But, no matter how you approach it, don't assume Pebble to be some kind of piece of cake mini-par 3 job. Every hole is regulation in length complete with a fair share of hazards and bunkers. |
